The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has brought me to one realization: there is a Person behind all the objective points of theology and Christian practice. Particularly I have a new appreciation for God's word and the ministry books of Watchman nee and Witness Lee. These two sources are the foundation of my Christian life. I have found out that everything fluctuatesmy environment, my condition, my emotions, even my love for the Lord, but there's one solid foundation and that is the Bible. Furthermore I see how much I need Christ, and many times the only place to find Him is in reading the Bible. I remember one particular experience when I was really bothered by a situation, and I prayed to the Lord, telling Him, “How can you let this go on? Aren't You bothered by this too?” His response was just to show me how much I needed Him to be my Person (Galatians 2:20). Instantly my reaction to His speaking within was “Where's my Bible; I don't know You Lord, but I want to find out who You are.”

I grew up in a Christian home, and all the points that I learned in Sunday school and even the practice of reading the Bible were just formalities to me. However, I now realize that these points and the habit of reading the Bible are so that I can know the Lord Jesus so He can be everything to me in my daily living.
